Customer booking terms and FAQs · Account and data deletion
1. Data and purposes
We process account and contact details, booking dates and service choices, messages and support requests, payment amounts, references and status, and the information vendors supply about their business and payouts. Technical connection and security information may be generated when you use the site. Provide only information necessary for your request; do not send full card details, passwords or unnecessary identity documents in chat or email.
We use necessary details to operate accounts, request vendor approval, arrange and support bookings, collect payments, administer refunds and payouts, prevent misuse and meet accounting or other legal duties. Required booking fields are identified in the form. Without necessary information we may be unable to arrange the booking. POK handles the enabled online payment process; payment credentials are subject to the payment provider's own notice and safeguards.
2. Legal bases and separate choices
Where GDPR applies, booking and account administration rely on contract or steps you request before a contract; accounting and legally required records rely on legal obligations. Proportionate fraud prevention, security and handling legal claims may rely on legitimate interests, subject to your rights. Optional analytics and marketing rely on separate consent. You can refuse optional features without losing ordinary booking access. Booking and security messages are separate from promotional messages.
Email marketing uses its own choice and unsubscribe process, including Email offers and news in My Profile. Vendor agreement acceptance and the full-payment preference are recorded with the account, date, version and agreement text to administer and evidence the commercial arrangement. They do not grant marketing consent.
3. Recipients and service providers
The selected vendor receives information necessary to approve, deliver and support your service. LinkUp SHPK uses hosting and technical providers, including Hostinger, and the enabled POK payment service. Optional Google Analytics is used only after analytics consent. Tawk.to live chat is loaded only when you explicitly enable it on that page. A chat may share your message, connection and device information with that provider. Email, telephone and WhatsApp remain alternative contact channels; choosing an external channel also brings its provider's privacy terms into operation.
Information may also be disclosed to authorised professional advisers or competent authorities where necessary and lawful. A vendor may act as a separate controller for its own service delivery and legal obligations. We do not authorise vendors to reuse booking details for unrelated marketing without a lawful basis.
4. International processing
LinkUp SHPK operates in Albania. Hosting, payment, communication and optional analytics or chat providers may process information in other countries. Cross-border processing must satisfy the applicable legal transfer requirements; it is not authorised merely by accepting booking terms. Contact us for information about the recipients, processing locations and transfer safeguards applicable to your data, or to request a copy where available. We will assess the request and any restrictions on disclosure under applicable law.
5. Cookies and browser storage
Necessary session, sign-in, security and booking functions use cookies or similar storage. Their duration depends on the session and any sign-in choice. Blocking necessary cookies in your browser can prevent sign-in or checkout. Optional analytics stays off until you accept it in the analytics choice panel. Reject analytics is available alongside Accept analytics; use Analytics preferences in the footer to change your choice on public pages.
- Analytics choice: first-party local storage sa_analytics_consent_v1 and its date record remember your choice for up to 180 days before asking again. You can change it sooner or clear browser storage.
- Google Analytics: when accepted, measurement G-TFK2H1WRL5 may use _ga and _ga_TFK2H1WRL5 to measure visits. The configured cookie lifetime is up to 180 days. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in this integration. Rejecting analytics disables this integration and clears its accessible first-party analytics cookies.
- Visit statistics: see_albania_customer_visit_v2 in session storage prevents repeated counting within the browser session. This visit-counting feature runs only when analytics consent is current.
- Optional chat: Enable optional live chat loads Tawk.to for that page only. Tawk.to may use TawkConnectionTime and twk_* or tawk_* storage for connection and chat continuity. Connection storage is generally session based; other provider storage may persist according to the provider's current configuration and notice. Reloading turns the chat off. Disable live chat and reload stops this page's chat integration and clears accessible first-party chat cookies. You can also clear provider cookies or storage in your browser. See Tawk.to privacy information.
Consent is specific to the selected feature. Scrolling, continued browsing, accepting booking terms or enabling chat does not authorise analytics or marketing. Preferences apply to the browser in use; another browser or device may ask again.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep data only as necessary for the relevant service, account, legal obligation or identified claim. Account and data deletion requests are handled manually within 30 days, subject to lawful exceptions and verification. Relevant invoices and supporting accounting records are retained for 10 years after the close of the reporting period, or longer where a specific legal provision requires it. Necessary evidence for identified legal obligations or claims may be retained until the matter and applicable legal periods end. These exceptions do not automatically justify keeping an entire profile or booking history. Retained archives have limited access and are not used for marketing.
See account deletion and retention details. You may request deletion without signing in or reinstalling the app. A request does not erase records that must legally be kept; we explain any applicable exception.
7. Your rights and complaints
Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already lawfully carried out. Contact contact@see-albania.com with enough information to identify the relevant account or booking. We may request proportionate verification, not unrelated information. Requests are answered within applicable legal deadlines; any lawful extension and reason will be communicated.
You may complain to the competent data protection authority, including the Albanian Commissioner or the relevant EU/EEA supervisory authority where GDPR applies. Contacting us first is helpful but does not remove that right. If a particular service uses a decision process with significant legal effects, the applicable information and safeguards must be provided for that process.
8. Security and updates
We apply access restrictions and appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect information. No system offers absolute security. Material changes to purposes or consent-dependent features require appropriate information and, where necessary, a new choice. The updated date identifies this notice; publication alone is not your consent to new optional processing.
