Guesthouse Thanasi was a small house with modest conditions for that time in the 90s. We didn't know what it meant to accommodate tourists. And unexpectedly, two people from Italy came to us and asked to stay in our house for 15 days, as they had come for work and brought the village's drinking water.
We accepted and welcomed them without any problems. Although we had a small house with only two rooms, we accommodated them as two friends.
Alberto and Hermes cooked together with us and were very pleased, even though our conditions were not excellent. I'm talking about the 90s.
After that time, we started renting out a room for vacationers and kept one for ourselves.
Then, our work continued and grew, adding a room whenever possible, and now we have a hotel where we enjoy ourselves. Guesthouse Thanasi.
The most important thing is that we have made many friends who have become regulars, some of whom have been coming to us for 25 years.
We have guests from Poland, France, Sweden, Germany, the Czech Republic, America, Italy, Macedonia, Kosovo, Australia, and many other countries that I can't remember right now.
