Customer FAQs · Vendor Terms

Last updated: 27 October 2026. This version applies to new bookings made under these terms. Existing bookings remain governed by the terms accepted when they were made.

1. Operator and contact details

See Albania at see-albania.com is operated by LinkUp SHPK, NIPT/NUIS M51830006L. Registered address: Rruga Durrësit, Pallatet Kullat e Paqes, Dyqan, Kati 1, Nr. 17, Tiranë 1023, Albania.

Customer support, cancellations and complaints: contact@see-albania.com; telephone +355 68 208 1899; WhatsApp. Vendor support: support@see-albania.com.

2. Platform and service provider

See Albania helps customers find, request, compare and book accommodation, vehicle rentals, tours and other travel services, and collects the payments offered through its checkout. A vendor is the independent provider identified in the offer or booking confirmation. For services supplied by an independent vendor, the service contract is with that vendor. See Albania provides its own booking, payment-administration and support services.

The vendor is responsible for accurate descriptions, availability, lawful operation, required licences and insurance, and delivery of the booked service. See Albania remains responsible for its own obligations, actions and omissions. This description does not override any responsibility imposed by applicable law, including where a booking constitutes a package.

3. Information and booking confirmation

Before committing to payment, check the provider, service, location, dates, participants, inclusions, exclusions, total price, payment schedule, cancellation policy and essential requirements. Vendor-specific conditions apply only where disclosed before booking and must respect mandatory law.

A request for an offer or an acknowledgement of payment is not itself confirmation of availability. A booking is confirmed when See Albania issues an express booking confirmation. If payment is collected but the booking cannot be confirmed, the amount collected for that unconfirmed booking is refunded in full. An alternative requires your agreement.

Keep your booking confirmation and the terms supplied with it. A service contract signed at the meeting point may record operational details but may not introduce previously undisclosed mandatory charges or materially less favourable conditions. Signing on arrival does not mean that the online booking created no earlier contractual obligations.

4. Total price and the 10% platform fee

See Albania adds a platform fee equal to 10% of the vendor's service price. For a vendor price of EUR 100, the platform fee is EUR 10 and the customer total is EUR 110, assuming no other disclosed charges. The fee is not 10% of the customer total.

The total is displayed after you select the service and the relevant booking details, and before you confirm and pay. All calculable mandatory taxes and charges must be included in that total. Any mandatory amount that cannot reasonably be calculated in advance must be explained, together with how it is calculated. Optional extras require your express choice. The checkout must identify the currency, amount payable now and any remaining balance.

5. Full payment or platform-fee-only payment

You pay the platform fee online and the service balance directly to the vendor. Full online payment is offered only where the vendor has expressly enabled it; in that case you may choose either payment option before confirming payment.

Full payment: the vendor's service price and the platform fee are collected by See Albania. An amount already received and allocated to your booking must not be charged again merely because the vendor has not yet received its payout.

Platform-fee-only payment: the outstanding vendor service price is paid directly to the vendor when you attend the agreed service point or meeting location, at service-contract signing and before the service begins. The confirmation must state that balance and the accepted payment arrangements. For a EUR 100 vendor service, you pay EUR 10 to See Albania and EUR 100 to the vendor, for a total of EUR 110.

6. POK Business, administration and vendor payout

POK Business is used to receive customer payments through the enabled payment service. The authorised administrator of LinkUp SHPK's account manages vendor transfers and refunds. POK does not decide booking approval, cancellation policy or the allocation of funds between See Albania and vendors.

For fully paid bookings, the vendor's share remains in the platform's account until the free-cancellation deadline expires. Once the booking enters the period in which free cancellation is no longer available, the administrator arranges the vendor payout. This does not change your displayed total or refund rights.

Holding a payment in the platform's account is not a representation that it is held in escrow, a segregated trust account or an insolvency-protection scheme. A vendor payout does not extinguish any mandatory refund or consumer right.

7. No security-deposit hold or pre-authorisation

See Albania currently does not offer a security-deposit hold or pre-authorisation on your card or account through POK Business. A booking payment is an actual payment, not a temporary guarantee hold. These terms do not authorise automatic future debits for damage or penalties.

If a vendor requires a separate security deposit, its amount, recipient, payment method, release conditions and possible deductions must be disclosed before booking. Any such deposit is administered separately by the vendor under the disclosed terms and applicable law.

8. Cancellation policy and deadlines

The cancellation policy for your selected offer must be available before payment and included in the confirmation. It must identify the free-cancellation deadline, date, time, time zone, later cancellation charges, treatment of the platform fee, and any no-show or early-departure conditions. Unless the confirmation specifies another time zone, the local time at the service location applies. A more restrictive policy cannot be imposed retrospectively.

For accommodation, car rental and certain leisure services booked for specific dates or periods, there is generally no automatic 14-day cooling-off right under EU consumer rules. Contractual free cancellation is governed by the disclosed policy. Any statutory withdrawal or other mandatory cancellation right that applies to your particular booking remains unaffected.

9. Cancellation within the free-cancellation period

If you cancel within the applicable free-cancellation deadline, See Albania refunds the full amount you paid to it for that booking, including the platform fee. If you paid only the platform fee, that fee is refunded in full. No POK, bank-processing, refund or administration fee is deducted from that refund. You do not have to accept a voucher instead of money.

10. Cancellation after the deadline and no-shows

After the free-cancellation deadline, the disclosed cancellation policy governs the vendor's entitlement to its service price or cancellation charge. Any refund of the vendor's share is the vendor's responsibility under that policy, any subsequent agreement with you and applicable law. A later service contract cannot remove rights already acquired at booking.

See Albania forwards refund requests and facilitates communication but does not promise to fund a vendor's discretionary refund from its own resources. If the vendor's share has not yet been transferred, any refund due must be coordinated through the platform rather than treating the amount as already paid out.

The See Albania platform fee is not automatically refundable after the free-cancellation deadline. You may request an individual review for a full or partial refund, taking account of the disclosed policy, reasons for cancellation and supporting evidence. A discretionary refund is not guaranteed; the decision will be communicated in writing. Mandatory refund rights are not subject to discretion.

No-show, late-arrival and early-departure charges apply only as disclosed before booking and to the extent permitted by law. No undisclosed penalty or duplicate recovery may be charged.

11. How to cancel and receive a refund

Use the cancellation feature where available, email contact@see-albania.com or send a WhatsApp message to +355 68 208 1899. Include your booking reference and name. The deadline is assessed by when your written request reaches the designated channel, not when staff review it. Telephone requests should also be confirmed in writing so that a record is available. Keep evidence of your request.

We confirm cancellation and explain the refundable amount or the calculation of any charge. Refunds are processed without undue delay and within applicable legal deadlines. The refund is made through the original payment method unless you expressly agree to another lawful method at no additional cost. Bank posting times may vary. A voucher is optional. Duplicate reimbursement for the same amount is not due.

12. Vendor cancellation, non-performance and changes

If a vendor cancels or cannot supply the booked service, you may accept an alternative or receive a full refund of amounts paid for the unprovided service, including the corresponding platform fee. An alternative or additional payment requires your agreement. A lower-value replacement requires an appropriate price adjustment. Statutory compensation and other remedies remain available where applicable.

Customer-requested changes depend on availability. Any price difference, change fee or revised cancellation policy must be disclosed before you accept. A change request is not automatically a cancellation. Unavoidable events are assessed under the applicable contract and law and do not automatically entitle either party to retain all payments for an unprovided service.

13. Customer obligations, damage and insurance

Provide accurate information, attend the agreed location and bring the identification, driving licence or other documents disclosed as necessary before booking. Age, licence, accessibility and safety requirements must be stated in advance. Insurance is included only where expressly identified, subject to its stated coverage and exclusions.

A damage claim must be supported by an explanation and evidence, with an opportunity for you to respond. These terms do not create a general authority to debit an unspecified amount from your card.

14. Complaints and responsibility

Report service problems promptly to the vendor and See Albania so that a remedy can be attempted. Send complaints with your booking reference and available evidence to contact@see-albania.com or WhatsApp +355 68 208 1899. We review the complaint and communicate the proposed resolution without undue delay and within applicable legal deadlines. This does not shorten statutory claim periods.

Each party remains responsible for its own obligations under applicable law. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, personal injury or other matters where exclusion is prohibited, or removes mandatory rights to a refund, price reduction, compensation or legal remedy. Vendor refund responsibilities do not exclude See Albania's own payment, refund or other statutory duties.

15. Packages, privacy and governing law

If the actual combination and sale of services constitutes a regulated travel package or another specially regulated arrangement, its mandatory information, performance, assistance, refund and insolvency-protection requirements apply. Describing See Albania as an intermediary does not override the legal classification of the booking.

Personal data are handled as described in our Privacy and Data Protection Policy. Accepting booking terms is not blanket marketing consent or consent to non-essential cookies. Any required consent must be obtained separately.

These terms are governed by Albanian law without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or court rights available under other applicable law. The complaints process does not prevent access to competent authorities, lawful dispute-resolution mechanisms or courts. Updates do not retrospectively reduce rights under existing bookings. If a term is unenforceable, the remainder applies to the extent permitted by law.

For vendors

The separate Vendor Terms describe vendor obligations and settlement. Vendors can accept the agreement and optionally enable full online payment in My Profile.

Customer FAQs

Who provides my service?

The vendor identified in your offer and confirmation provides the service. See Albania manages its platform, booking support and the payments collected through its checkout. The full terms explain each party's responsibilities.

How is the total calculated?

The vendor price plus a 10% See Albania platform fee. A EUR 100 service costs EUR 110 in total, assuming no other disclosed mandatory charges. Review the total and any optional extras before paying.

Can I pay only the platform fee?

Yes. You pay the platform fee online and the vendor balance at the agreed meeting point, when signing the service contract and before starting the service. Full online payment is an additional choice only if this vendor has enabled it. Your confirmation states the balance.

When is the vendor paid if I pay in full?

The administrator arranges the vendor payout after full payment has been received and the free-cancellation period ends, subject to refunds and payment disputes. This does not change your total or your mandatory rights.

Will I receive a refund if I cancel in time?

Yes. Cancellation within your booking's free-cancellation deadline entitles you to a full refund of what you paid to See Albania for that booking, including the platform fee, without processing-fee deductions.

What if I cancel after the deadline?

The vendor's disclosed cancellation policy applies to its share. You may separately ask See Albania to review a refund of its platform fee; a discretionary refund is not guaranteed. Mandatory rights remain unaffected.

Do I always have 14 days to change my mind?

No. Date-specific hotel bookings, car rentals and certain leisure services generally do not carry an automatic EU 14-day cooling-off right. Check the cancellation policy for your booking.

Does See Albania block a security deposit?

No. See Albania currently does not offer security-deposit holds or pre-authorisations through POK Business. Any separate deposit required by the vendor must be disclosed before booking.

What if the vendor cancels?

You may accept an alternative or receive a full refund for the unprovided service, including its corresponding platform fee, without losing any additional mandatory remedies.

How do I cancel or complain?

Email contact@see-albania.com or message +355 68 208 1899 on WhatsApp with your booking reference. You can also telephone +355 68 208 1899; confirm time-sensitive cancellation requests in writing.
